Batam 16/5. The established cooperation between the Ministry of Law and Human Rights with several donor agencies should aim to increase the role of development, empowerment and legal protection especially for the human resources improvement. The statement given by the Senior Advisor to the Minister on Reform of Bureaucracy Enhancement, F. Haru Tamtomo while opening the event of International Cooperation Management of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Batam, Tuesday (16/5). The event is themed "International Cooperation and Public Communication Strategy in Global World". It was held by the Bureau of Public Relations, Law and Cooperation in assisstance with the donor agency from Germany, Friedrich Naumann Stiftung / FNS on 16-19 May of 2017
Concerning the international cooperation improvement, Haru said that this event should lead the ministry to greater advancement and maintain the NKRI sovereignty. "This activity should be considered for an opportunity to improve our HR capacity in terms of international cooperation and good media relation as a way of publication" Haru said.
At the end, he said that the ministry’s senior officials strongly encourage the event and wish all the participants could learn and improve their knowledge better.
Meanwhile, as the host, The Riau Islands (Kepri) Regional Office Head, Bambang Widodo gave remarks and showed his enthusiast that the event is held in Batam and it will bring useful results for the human resources improvement, both for the regional office and the Ministry as well. "I hope this activity can improve our personnels’ knowledge, especially international cooperation management, considering Batam geographically as the gate to other countries (singapore) will be much concerned to such cooperation" he expected. The event participated by the Ministry’s personnels from all regional offices and featured by notable speakers in public relations and international cooperation.
As known, the international cooperation between Kemenkumham and foreign donors, not only on training and communication area but also concerning on the fulfillment and protection of human rights; the advancement of democracy (politics) involving stakeholders of several parties, the Central Java’s Local Administration, and the Wonosobo Local Administration; also the environment & diversity-concerned journalist entities. The cooperation shows the Ministry’s success in establishing good synergy with the public entities and other institutions.
